Rewano BaileY

Rewano Bailey was born in Jamaica in 1981. He moved to St. Maarten in 1984 and has made it his home since. Rewano started working as a rental agent for Safari Car Rentals in June 2006.

Fluent in English, Rewano has also mastered the native language spoken here in St. Maarten, Dutch, and is now learning Spanish. With these multi-lingual skills, he strives to serve and communicate with all his customers.

Rewano has a vibrant personality, is open-minded and lives by his #1 policy that “The customer always comes first”. He truly enjoys his job as an agent as it allows him to also be an ambassador to the island.

AlBERTO TIRNA

Alberto Tirana, born in the Dominican Republic moved to St. Maarten in 1992. He has been a Rental Agent with Safari Car rentals since 1993.

Alberto is delighted to have the opportunity to put his native tongue to use time and again, "Speaking English and Spanish is very useful. Clients come from around the world to visit our island and it is my job to help them get moving; if on top of that I can communicate with them in their native tongue, it makes the experience that much more pleasant".

 

Derrick Vlaun

Derrick Vlaun, born and raised on St. Maarten has been a Rental Agent since 1998. A son of the soil and at home at Safari, Derrick will be happy to share and guide you to the "Friendly Island's" secret treasures. "I grew up on these streets, before most of them even had names; this island has a lot of history and hidden treasures off the beaten path - in sharing that with our customers, I hope they too can feel at home here."

Frank F. Efenio

Frank F. Efenio, was born in Manilla, Philippines. A father of 4, he is married to Celia. "Celia and I are both part of a longstanding company with a proven track record. I've seen a lot of repeat business since I've been a Rental Agent at Safari; we're not only building up a business but we're building up relationships. It's a good feeling when I have a customer from halfway around the world, call me and say "Hey Frank, it's Joe, we're coming down, can you set us up, same as usual".

"Junny" Nicaela

Neftely Nicaela better known as Junny was born on Curaçao and has been residing on St. Maarten for the past 16 years. Junny is a classic "rise to the top" success story. He started out washing cars, worked his way up to rental agent. A part-time licensed taxi driver, Junny is always on the go. "I started at the bottom so I think I know this business in and out but it doesn't mean I know it all. We have a great team and Safari is an ambitious company. We encourage our customers to give us as much feedback as they have time for - that's what helps us move ahead and stay at the top of our game."

Alain has 15 years of car rental and tourist information experience. He has worked with various car rentals on the Island before joining us here at Safari, and we can assure, you can benefit from his experiences. He loves to share information about our beautiful island. He enjoys working with people of all cultures and backgrounds. Alain is fluent in English , French, Creole and Spanish.
